Albert is survived by: his wife Esmeralda of Hallettsville; step-children, Yvonne & Ben Acuna of El Campo, Adolfo & Liz Estrada of Benavdies, TX, Adrian & Ester Estrada of Karnes City, Brian & Connie Estrada of Battleground, WA, Chris Estrada and Debra Jones of Bay City; his children, Danny Ray & Melody Novak of El Campo, AJ & Janet Novak of El Campo, James & Liz of Hebbronville, TX, Shirley Novak of El Campo, Carol & Dan Foytik of El Campo, Linda & John Driscol of El Campo, Joni Novak of El Campo, and adopted son Alan Smith of Gonzales; 2 brothers, Bennie & Barbara Novak of El Campo, and Frankie & Janet Novak of El Campo; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Albert was preceded in death by: his parents; 2 brothers, Herman and Raymond Novak; and 2 sisters, Vlasta Yackel and Annie Pivetz.
Funeral Mass Service:
11 am, Friday, August 27, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Visitation:
3 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home.
Rosary:
7 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home.
Officiate:
Rev. Tommy Chen.
Pallbearers:
Chris Estrada, Ben Acuna, John Novak, Chad Charbula, Adrian Estrada, and Arcadio Charles.

In Alice, Texas: Visitation will start at 8 am Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Rosas Funeral Home (1215 West Front Street, Alice, Texas; 361-664-7070). The rosary will start at 9 am with the service starting at 9:30 am that Saturday at the Rosas Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Charles Family Cemetery in Alice.
