Obituary

Mrs. Agnes L. Dornak, 93, of Hallettsville, died Dec. 28, 2007. She was born on Jan. 6, 1914 to Roman J. & Anna Ruzicka Rainosek in Lavaca County, Texas. She married August C. Dornak on Nov. 7, 1933 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sweet Home, Texas. She was a member of KJZT and Treasurer with KJZT Society #8 of Koerth for over 30 years, and member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Altar Society for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Agnes is survived by: son Raymond Dornak & wife Lois of Hallettsville; 2 daughters, Rita Kurtz & husband Laddie of Shiner, and Beatrice McNabb & husband Jack of Hallettsville; 11 grandchildren, Gregory Dornak, Michele Schambough, Michael Kurtz, Darrell Kurtz, Suzanne Kurtz, Kenneth Kurtz, James McNabb, Julie Dupre', Shaun McNabb, Joshua McNabb, and Bridget McNabb; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Agnes was preceded in death by: husband August on April 22, 1999; grandson Russell Kurtz; parents Roman J. & Anna Ruzicka Rainosek; 2 sisters, Annie Marie Rainosek and Mary Fritz; and 3 brothers, Frank, Louis, and Roman F. Rainosek.

Service: 10:30 am, Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Visitation: 12 Noon, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 6 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home; and 10 am, Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: Gregory Dornak, Michael Kurtz, Darrell Kurtz, Kenneth Kurtz, Shaun McNabb, and Joshua McNabb. Honorary Pallbearers: James McNabb, Brandon Dornak, Drew Schambough, and Maximiliam Kurtz. Burial: Koerth Catholic Cemetery.
