Adela Clara Patlovany, 97, of Hallettsville, passed away July 17, 2020.  She was born on November 26, 1922, to Henry & Emilia Schramm Christ Jr., in Schulenburg, TX.  She married Edward J. Patlovany on September 18, 1944, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Quilting Circle and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Adela was a smart, hardworking, sweet, and caring woman.  She loved her family, being a Catholic, her German traditions, deer hunting, baking, eating kolaches, and quilting.  She could make the most beautiful quilts.  We love her and already miss her very much.

Adela is survived by:  2 sons, Eddie Patlovany & wife Beth, and James Patlovany; daughter Marcy Beerman & husband Ken; sister Evelyn Mendel; 6 grandchildren, David, Jamie, Lance, Justin, Kristi, & John; 15 great grandchildren, Cole, Reid, Trent, Presley, Emma, Taylor, Thomas, Katherine, Christopher, Ayden, William, Samuel, Madison, Alice, and Benjamin; & great great grandson, Abel.

Adela was preceded in death by:  her husband Edward; parents; daughter-in-law Marilyn Ann Patlovany; and 4 brothers, Bennie, Lawrence Sr., Leo and Clarence Christ.

Funeral Mass Service (All attendees must wear masks): 11 am, Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville; with Rosary starting at 10:30 am; and Visitation stating at 9 am. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
