Adela Kunetka, 79, of San Saba, formerly of Hallettsville, passed away July 19, 2009. She was born September 1, 1929 to John & Emma Sestak Kunetka Sr. near Breslau, Texas. She was a member of Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia.

Adela is survived by: her brother George Kunetka of Hallettsville; 2 nieces, Rosemary Ohnheiser of Houston, and Margaret Myers of Hallettsville; nephew Robert Kristek of Tomball; 3 grandnieces; and 1 grandnephew.

Adela was preceded in death by; her parents, brother John Kunetka Jr., and sister Lillie Kunetka Kristek.

Mass Service: 10 am, Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia. Visitation: 2 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Harvey Ehler, Ed Biehunko III, Bruce Kitten, Dwight McCord, Barry Ohnheiser, and Timothy Longoria. Memorials: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia. Burial: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Cemetery.
